A Star Citizen Referral Bonus Will Next Be Available at the End of the Year!
Star Citizen occasionally runs bonus referral reward events, granting new players extra loot when they sign up using a referral code and then spend $40 USD or more on the pledge store. These bonuses vary across events, but typically include a hoverbike, small ship, or armor and weapon set, and frequently appear alongside Free Fly events—though sometimes they launch as standalone promotions.
The next referral reward will likely be offered in November/December during either the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo (IAE - Anniversary Sale) or Luminalia celebration (Christmas).
A bonus referral promotion was last active during the annual Foundation Festival event, from July 29th through August 12th. Players who created an account using a referral code (STAR-SFVL-W7BT) and pledged $40 USD or more in the RSI store before the end of the event earned an in-game "Ready for Anything" Career Kit (undersuit, armor, backpack, multi-tool + attachments and rifle)!
Note: To have received the latest bonus referral reward you must have completed a $40 USD purchase before the end of the Foundation Festival event (July 29th, 2026 until August 12th, 2026 @ 20:00 UTC). Referral bonuses are typically granted at the end of the event.
