Ship Showdown 2025 (2955)

From August 26th through September 2nd, 8 ships and vehicles were available to fly for free! 

All eight ships in the "elite eight" (Round 2) of the Ship Showdown tournament bracket were available to fly for free: 

• Asgard (dropship): A heavily armored vehicle-dropship equipped for boundless resilience in the hottest combat zones. Power through relentless fire to deliver vital reinforcements, hold the front line, and keep the enemy retreating.  

• Ursa Medivac (ambulance): A frontline medical support vehicle built to  endure the harshest environments - a beacon of hope bringing you back into action with its state-of-the-art Tier 3 medical bed. An indispensable asset for any team facing unpredictable challenges. 

• Razor (racing): MIRAI makes a bid for the next Murray Cup with the all-new Razor. The Razor features an advanced composite spaceframe that puts pure speed ahead of everything else... it's the ship for pilots who want to leave the competition in the dust. 

• Gladiator (bomber): The civilian model of the Gladiator appeals to those that want to explore the 'Verse with a bit of added security. Supporting a maximum of two, the Gladiator is perfectly equipped to explore and fight with or without a wingman. The Civilian model allows pilots to choose between an extra cargo hold or a bomb bay. 

• Zeus Mk II ES (expedition): Ready to ferry a whole new generation of travelers across the universe, the Zeus Mk II pays homage to the classic ship that launched Humanity to the stars in 2140. With a focus on exploration, the Zeus Mk II ES features a robust radar package for making new discoveries, along with enhanced weaponry and shielding. 

• Vulture (light salvage): Answer to no one, cut out the middle man, and throw caution to the wind. Rip wrecks like a pro and carve out your own place in the great big empty behind the stick of this rough, rugged salvage machine from Drake Interplanetary.  

• Prowler Utility (cargo): Like the original Prowler, the Utility embraces the alien design of the infamous Tevarin ship entrusted to Esperia decades ago. However, its 32-SCU cargo hold and integrated tractor beam make this variant as practical for hauling as it is visually striking. 

• Polaris (corvette): Nimble corvette-class capital ship packing a powerful punch with a full armament of turrets and torpedoes, small craft hangar, and habitation for a crew of 12.
