Star Citizen Was Last Free to Play During the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo!

Star Citizen was free to play November 20th-December 3rd, 2025, during the annual Intergalactic Aerospace Expo! Pilots got to test fly 175 ships and vehicles from all different manufacturers across every profession. Preparing for the next Free Fly event is easy - simply create an account to instantly receive 50k in-game credits and follow the steps below when the next event is live.

If you've created an account in the past, but have not made any purchases, I recommend creating a brand new account. As of July 2, 2025, at 12:00PM Eastern, new accounts that sign up using a referral code receive 50k in-game credits, 10x more than what was offered in the past. If you've not yet purchased the game, make a new account and take advantage of this improved offer.

Enjoying a Star Citizen Free Fly event is easy if you follow the steps below!

#1 Create a FREE Star Citizen Account

For instructions on creating a new Star Citizen account, follow my guide. Or, simply enter referral code STAR-SFVL-W7BT on the Star Citizen account creation page. You will immediately receive 50k in-game credits.

#2 Download the Launcher and Game Client

Click "DOWNLOAD" on the Launcher Page.

#3 Play!
