Star Citizen: Free to Play!

A Free Fly Event is LIVE until May 27, 2025

Star Citizen is currently free to play during the annual Invictus Launch Week (ILW) celebration, May 15th - 27th, 2025! Simply create an account to instantly receive 5,000 in-game credits and be ready to play for free! The free ship schedule can be found on the ship spotlight page. Also, be sure to take advantage of the limited time bonus referral reward.

Enjoying a Star Citizen Free Fly event is easy if you follow the steps below!

#1 Create a FREE Star Citizen Account

For instructions on creating a new Star Citizen account, follow my guide. Or, simply enter referral code STAR-SFVL-W7BT on the Star Citizen account creation page. You will immediately receive 5000 in-game credits.

#2 Download the Launcher and Game Client

Visit the Client Download Page to install the latest version of the launcher. Or, click "DOWNLOAD THE RSI LAUNCHER" on the Welcome Page.

#3 Play!

Last but not least: run the launcher and play! A list of ships available to fly for free can be found on the ship spotlight page.
